GetMyPass is a UK-based driving course booking and coordination service. We connect learners with DVSA-approved driving instructors, arrange test bookings, and support learners throughout their journey to passing their driving test.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Process your course booking and allocate a suitable driving instructor

  • Driving instructors: we share relevant personal and course information with your allocated instructor to enable them to deliver your tuition
  • DVSA: we provide the information required to book your practical driving test on your behalf
  • Payment processors: your payment details are handled by our PCI DSS-compliant payment provider
  • IT and hosting providers: third parties who support our website and systems, operating under strict data processing agreements
  • Legal and regulatory bodies: where we are required to disclose information by law or in response to a valid legal request

6. Test Cancellation Services

Where included in your package, GetMyPass may share limited personal information with a third-party test cancellation monitoring service. This service checks for earlier test dates at your preferred test centre on your behalf. The data shared is limited to: your name, contact details, provisional licence number, test type, preferred test centre, and ideal test window.

All third-party partners used for this purpose are bound by strict data processing agreements and are not permitted to use or share your data for any other purpose. 7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, and in line with our legal obligations. In most cases, course and transaction records are kept for 6 years following the completion or termination of your booking, in accordance with HMRC requirements. After this period, your data is securely deleted or anonymised.

If you have only submitted an enquiry and have not gone on to book a course, we will retain your contact details for up to 12 months unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

8. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification: you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data

Payments are processed through PCI DSS-compliant providers and we do not store full payment card details on our systems.
